Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Shipyard ("the Service"), an AI-assisted website creation and hosting service operated by DangerousCentaur.com ("we", "us"). By signing up or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. The Service

Shipyard builds, hosts, and lets you edit a website using AI, based on the information you provide. We host your site on our infrastructure and give you a self-service editor to request changes. Features and limits (including the included monthly edit allowance) are described on our homepage and may change over time.

2. Billing & cancellation

• Subscriptions are billed monthly through Stripe at the price shown at signup. You can cancel any time; cancellation stops future charges and your site remains live through the end of the paid period.
• Monthly subscription fees are non-refundable, including for partial months.
• Optional prepaid editing credit is non-refundable but does not expire while your account is active.

3. Domain registration

If you purchase a domain name through us, it is registered on your behalf through a third-party registrar and is subject to that registrar's terms and to ICANN policy. Domain fees are annual and are non-refundable once the domain is registered, because the registration cost is incurred immediately and cannot be reversed.

4. Your content and acceptable use

You are responsible for the content of your site and must have the rights to everything you upload or ask the AI to publish. You agree not to use the Service for anything unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or malicious, including spam, malware, phishing, or content that violates others' rights. We may suspend or remove any site that violates these Terms.

5. AI-generated content

Site content is generated with AI tools and published automatically. AI output can contain errors. You are responsible for reviewing your live site and requesting corrections. The Service is provided to help you publish quickly — it is not a substitute for your own review of accuracy, legal compliance, or fitness for your purpose.

6. Availability

We aim to keep the Service and your site available, but we provide it on a best-effort basis with no uptime guarantee at this price. We may perform maintenance or make changes that briefly affect availability.

7. Warranty disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the three months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

8. Termination

You may cancel at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we are required to act on by law. After cancellation or termination, your site and stored data may be deleted.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be reflected by the effective date above; continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
